When you stand up for yourself, you stand up for other girls.

“Develop enough courage so that you can stand up for somebody else because when a woman decides to stand up for herself, she stands up for other women as well.” Maya Angelou

I wish to inspire every girl, woman, and child. I want to let them know that they are more capable than they think, and that together, we can all rise.

You see, to explore this age as a woman without the fear of what people or society will say, has been made, either directly or otherwise, a Herculean task for years. But you become a conquerer when you channel that ‘energy’ called fear as a drive for inspiration to chase dreams unrelentingly, till you make them come true.

Why? Dreams never age.

Many of us come from homes and societies where it’s prohibited to pursue certain pathways as girls. The choice of education and careers are judged and thorned upon because, a female.

Oh! Too often are we looked down on.

But you know what? With determination, hard work and faith, I believe that we can change the ways and mindsets naysayers have towards us. With these and more, we can achieve our dreams and inspire other girls.

As much as we can’t change the direction of the wind, we can always adjust our sails to reach our destination.

Don’t retreat when people try to become stumbling blocks. Press on regardless. And if all you ever do is shine your light into the world, that would be enough. No one can stop it until you let them.

To be a girl is a beautiful thing, but to be a girl who knows what she wants, believes in them and works towards achieving them, is your super power. That is why I say it is okay to explore. It is okay to rise higher and higher without fear. Go all out! Spread your wings and soar, help other girls find their purpose by standing for yours!.

Let us achieve dreams and be unstoppable together!
