Do you enjoy where you are now? Finding yourself always at the receiving end of the mistakes of others and completely vulnerable to society?
Do you find yourself giving in to guilt trips, changing a part of you for the worse because someone or something is pulling at your heartstrings or making you feel small?
Do you allow someone’s opinion of you dictate your worth and actions? Do you find yourself unable to set healthy boundaries? Relegate your goals because you were rejected???
Do you simply have no control over your life?
Do you want that to change??
Then repeat after me – THIS HAS TO WORK!
You have to take control of your life now, and become the best version of yourself.
Too many of us are not living our dreams, because we are living our fears.
“I overcame myself, the sufferer; I carried my own ashes to the mountains; I invented a brighter flame for myself.”FRIEDRICH NIETZCHE
You may think that it’s too late to start, but it is not. You may think that you’re too broken to be fixed, but you are not. Too far gone, that you feel there’s no way back.
But the truth is, this can work. And YOU have to make it work.
“People are anxious to improve their circumstances but are unwilling to improve themselves; they therefore remain bound.”JAMES ALLEN
Put in the complete effort, and fall in love with the process of being the best version of yourself. Forgive yourself for the things that made you who you are now, and love yourself solid again.
Restart your “YOU” engine.
You can change your life till you become who you know you can be.
This has to work.
Stop the negative self-talk. Stop the procrastinating. Stop people-pleasing. Stop the fear of success. Stop the fear of failure.
I did some digging while I rode on the horse of fixing myself, to make me work, and I found these nuggets from Joel Osteen and John Maxwell, uber useful. To make this work, you must:
- Keep pressing forward
- Be positive toward yourself
- Develop the right attitude
- Develop better relationships
- Form better habits
- Embrace the place you are
- Tap into your passion
- Learn more about your strengths
- Develop your inner life
- Become more in touch with your purpose
- Develop your skills
- And stay passionate about life.
This has to work.
